McDonalds charge all of their servers the same depending on their position(cook, manager, executive) the higher your rank the higher your pay the quality of service is decided by your server and if theyre doing a crappie job talk to their manager and theyll work out the problem(McDonalds pretty much always has a manager on staff unless their was a last-minute emergency) for the thing about time square its not the pay its the server, and you were probably there at lunch which is a very stressful place for any one in the food service business especially in such a crowded part of a big city.
